Mr Gibbs spokesman for Chemically Exposed Paritutu Residents Association (CEPRA) is right. The Ministry of Health must be held responsible for misleading data they have produced over the years to cover-up the Paritutu IWD issue of the true chemical exposure to the public and media. It is also the Minister responsible for health Pete Hodgson that should be held accountable.
The fact that he has not even given the decency to respond, when invited to by the Taranaki Daily News to make comment, declining his position as Minister of Health. Tells us the Minister has vacated his position of responsibility and therefore should resign his portfolio. I am also surprised that the opposition National party has not used this golden opportunity to pressure the government to oust the Minister. But then again it is past national governments that are as much to blame if not more for the Paritutu IWD fiasco.
